The sunset over the sand dunes by the campsite at Lionacleit will stay in my memory as one of the most awesome I've ever seen. This was one snapshot of it, the colours are, I promise, real. They changed every second, blues, pinks, oranges, reds. It was quite something. Just to the right of the setting sun you can just make out a lighthouse, this is the recently reinstated lighthouse of the Monach Islands, on Siolaigh which lies a good 15 miles away.
