Cairn Toul Summit

Up to Cairngorm, Badenoch and Atholl Index

A patch of sun lights up the summit of Ben Macdui. It's nearly July, yet much snow persists in this part of the Cairngorms as mini glaciers in the north-facing corries. This tiny purple flower seems to be thriving here too, at this high altitude. This spot is near the summit of Cairn Toul.
