I wasn't in Auckland very long, but I was there long enough to see someone jump off this. It's the highest building in the Southern Hemisphere at 328 metres tall. Being New Zealand, of course, they have dangled a rope off it and you can jump from the edge of that circular platform and experience free-fall for a bit. Then they (hopefully) put on the brakes.
