Amusingly, there are some glass panels in the floor of the observation deck. This means that you can stand on glasss and look vertically downward to street level. There is a sign that helpfully points out that 4cm of glass is as strong as the concrete of the rest of the floor, but it still takes an effort of will to step onto the glass, such is the sense of vertigo.
